Cosy And Curated - Our Favourite Games From Wholesome Snack The Game Awards Edition 2025
Continuing our The Game Awards events coverage, we’re highlighting games that got us feeling all warm and fuzzy on the recent Wholesome Snack. This bite-sized show is a smaller rendition of their mid-year Wholesome Games Showcase, but it’s no less formidable this time round with the number of exciting announcements we saw on the show.
Bits & Bops
It feels like we’ve been waiting forever for Bits & Bops to release so it’s a real treat to finally get it just as 2025 comes to a close. This is a cute collection of rhythm mini games made similar to classic Rhythm Heaven games. Enjoy simple yet satisfying gameplay, set against a backdrop of colorful hand-drawn animation. Made by the Tempo Lam Games team who hail from Sydney, Australia, it’s a gorgeous piece of art and perfect for music game enthusiasts. Bits & Bops is out now on Steam!
Lost and Found Co.
Another adorable game on the list is Lost and Found Co. made by the Bit Egg team from Thailand! This is a hidden object game set inside an immersive cosy world. The story revolves around Ducky, a former duck and now human, interning at a magical startup dedicated to finding lost items for people. Expect lots of fun and magical locations to explore through an art style that really pops through the screen. Lost and Found Co. releases on February 11th 2026.
Fishbowl
Do you love soft palettes, softer music and games that explore life and the surreal? That’s Fishbowl, an upcoming interactive fiction game themed around dreams, grief and hope. You play as Alo, a young girl living alone in the city while grieving her grandma’s death. You’ll get through your work from home days, interact with loved ones remotely and (with help from a magic fish) learn what it means to create a fulfilling life even while in isolation. We first fell in love with Fishbowl when we first saw it at Bitsummit over 2 years ago. Feels incredible to say that the game will release in April 2026.
Arcane Eats
We love cooking simulation games but Arcane Eats manages to bring fresh new gameplay to the genre by incorporating deck-building into the feast. At its core, Arcane Eats is all puzzle and strategy as you’ll have to play the right ingredient cards at the right time to help feed a hungry horde of monsters. There are also tool cards, culinary spell cards and an eclectic cast of creatures to keep things interesting. From our last playthrough of the game’s demo there’s something very tight and satisfying to the gameplay loop, so we definitely recommend checking out Arcane Eats when it releases in 2026.
Coffee Talk Tokyo
Last on our list but far from least is Coffee Talk Tokyo, the latest addition to the hit Coffee Talk series. If you’re new to it all, this is the original coffee brewing meets talking simulation game where the drinks you craft act as your responses to the characters. This version of Coffee Talk takes place in a reimagined Tokyo where humans and yokai co-exist, so expect some Japanese flair from the drinks you make to the kappa salaryman you’re trying to serve. Coffee Talk Tokyo drops on 5th March 2026, we’re excitedly preparing for our dose of caffeine and cosy.
